Terms of Service — MoneySense Pro

Agreement to Terms and Access Rights

By accessing and using MoneySense Pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. MoneySense Pro grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our calculation models and software interface in accordance with these terms.

Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

You agree to use MoneySense Pro only for lawful, personal, or legitimate business purposes. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

Reverse-engineering, scraping, modifying, or redistributing the calculation logic and proprietary application code.
Using the software to perform or assist in fraudulent financial schemes, unauthorized tax evasion, or money laundering activities.
Deploying automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract pricing or tax logic from the interface.
Using the Service to analyze financial records of third parties without their explicit consent.

Payment, Licensing, and One-Time Purchases

MoneySense Pro offers access via a perpetual, "Pay-Once, Use-Forever" one-time purchase ("Lifetime License"). Your license applies to the major version currently active at the time of purchase. Future major updates or Pro tier features may require a separate upgrade fee.

Refund Policy

General Term: Due to the digital nature of the software and immediate access to the calculations and local-first analysis engines, all sales are final. We do not offer unconditional refunds.
Exception: If you experience critical technical issues that prevent access to the software, and our support team cannot resolve them within 14 business days, a refund may be processed via our payment partner, Creem.
Timeframe: Any valid refund requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the original purchase date via support@moneysensepro.app or our dedicated support channel.

"Bring Your Own Key" (BYOK) Responsibility

Users who opt in to the AI Insight features agree to integrate their own third-party API keys.

You are solely responsible for all direct or indirect costs billed by your API provider (e.g., OpenAI, DeepSeek, Cloudflare).
MoneySense Pro is not liable for service outages, billing issues, rate limits, or inaccuracies generated by third-party AI models.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where our legal entity is established. Any legal disputes arising from these terms will be settled in the courts of this jurisdiction.
