MoneySense Pro ("we," "our," or "the Service") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our software utility. We operate under a "Local-First" data architecture designed to minimize server-side data retention.
Information We Collect and Process
- Personal Data: We collect minimal personal information necessary for user authentication and license verification, specifically your email address and name. This data is managed securely via our authentication provider.
- Financial and Input Data: All sensitive financial data (including but not limited to salary, debt, savings, and tax variables) entered into our calculation forms is processed locally within your client-side browser storage. We do not store or mirror your raw financial figures on our permanent cloud servers.
- API Keys & AI Processing: If you enable the "AI Decision Insight" feature, you may provide your own third-party API keys. These credentials are stored exclusively in your local browser cache (IndexedDB) and are never transmitted to our core databases.
Third-Party Services & Data Processors
We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data. To facilitate our operations, we share specific information with authorized third-party data processors:
- Infrastructure Partners: Vercel, Zeabur, and Cloudflare (for web hosting, DDoS protection, and secure serverless transit).
- Payment Processing: All transaction data is securely managed and processed by our Merchant of Record, Creem — contact: support@moneysensepro.app. MoneySense Pro does not collect, store, or process credit card numbers or banking details.
Your Rights and Data Deletion
Under applicable privacy laws (such as GDPR, CCPA, and PIPL), you have the right to access, export, or erase your data. Since the majority of your calculation data remains stored in your local browser, you can exercise your right to erasure instantly by clearing your browser cache or using the "Delete All Data" feature within the MoneySense Pro application.
